Support Program - Building Futures

The Building Futures Program helps people who are currently experiencing homelessness. This program focuses on assisting individuals and families gain and sustain appropriate long-term housing. Staff from the Building Futures Program provide a flexible service and seek to work in partnership with individuals and families to assist in:

• Identifying the factor(s) contributing to homelessness and strategies to overcome.
• Developing the knowledge and skills to obtain and sustain housing.
• Building professional relationships with relevant services and social support to assist clients with obtaining and sustaining housing.

PREVENTION PROGRAM – HOMESTAY

The Homestay Program helps individuals and families who are at risk of losing their tenancy or who need assistance maintaining their tenancy. Staff from the Homestay program provide a flexible individually tailored service including early intervention, advocacy, tenancy education and case support.
